AWS Class ENiCu-7 coated electrodes are nickel–copper–based electrodes primarily designed for welding nickel-copper alloys. The typical weld metal composition contains approximately 65–70% nickel, 20–30% copper, with small amounts of iron and manganese. This composition provides good tensile strength, excellent ductility, and strong impact resistance. The deposited weld metal offers stable mechanical properties and good crack resistance. ENiCu-7 electrodes also demonstrate outstanding resistance to corrosion, particularly in seawater and alkaline environments, ensuring reliable performance and long service life.
