AWS Class ENiCrMo-13 coated electrodes are nickel-based electrodes alloyed with chromium and molybdenum to provide superior resistance to aggressive chemicals. The typical weld metal composition includes approximately 55–60% nickel, 14–16% chromium, 15–17% molybdenum, and up to 5% iron, with minor controlled elements. This composition ensures high tensile strength, good ductility, and excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. ENiCrMo-13 electrodes produce smooth, crack-resistant welds suitable for high-performance industrial applications.
